 This is a fantastic 2 day trip that allows you to have a holiday within a holiday, whilst also giving you the opportunity to visit one of the most historic cities in the world.Following your pick up you will be taken to Zakynthos Harbour (8:00) to board the ferry to Killini, your ferry tickets are included in the price and will have been handed to you before you disembark from the coach. Your crossing to Killini will last approximately 60 minutes, after which you will be told which coach will be taking you to Athens . The journey to Athens by Coach will take approximately 4 to 4 1/2 hours but there are several stops, the first of which is in Aegion or Acrata for coffee, then you will stop at the Canal of Korinth for lunch, you will also have a chance to take photographs here before completing your journey to Athens . Once in the City you will check into your hotel, where you will be until 20.00 when you will be taken to the restaurant for dinner, this is in Plaka, the ancient part of Athens opposite the Acropolis. This is a Bouzouki-night with live music and traditional dancers. At about midnight you return to the hotel. Following your breakfast which is included in the price you will be taken on your sight seeing tour of the city with our professional Athenian guide.  The programme for the sight seeing tour is;Changing of the guards in front of the Parliament Building , Olympic stadium "Kalimarmaro" Zappion Panepistimiou - Street: Universary, library, art museum, Acropolis: Guided tour of the Acropolis - Entrance fee 12 euros per person Plaka (Old Athens ) Monastiraki (Bazaar) Thissiou ( Temple of Hephaistos ) You will have some free time at around noon to have a look around by yourselves, shop and take photographs. Your coach for your return journey leaves at 13.30 again you will have several stops on your way back to Killini where the ferry leaves for Zakynthos at 17.30. There will be facilities to exchange money on this tour but you will need to ensure that you have enough for your entrance fees into the Acropolis and food.
