ACCOMMODATION The studios are clean, spacious and breezy and set within well kept gardens overlooking rose beds and big beautiful palm trees that are lit at night. Each individual studio comprises of double or single beds, fully equipped kitchenette with cooking facilities, utensils, fridge and kettle; private bathroom with shower, safety deposit box, and furnished balcony overlooking the gardens. Next door is a swimming pool with free sunbeds and umbrellas and snack bar which is open all day for the use of our guests. Within the grounds is a patio area with BBQ, tables and chairs where guests are welcome to have a private BBQ or celebration. LOCATION
Barbara Studios are located in the centre of Laganas, which is the largest and liveliest of the island's resorts located on the south coast of Zakynthos and is famous around the globe for its fantastic nightlife. It is also home to the national marine park where the protected species of loggerhead turtles (Caretta-caretta) come to nest. For sunbathers the sandy, gently shelving beach sprawls for five kilometres and is one of the best on the island and you can take a turtle-spotting boat trip from here, an experience not to be missed. Laganas has a good selection of shops selling clothes, souvenirs, jewellery, leather goods and countless bars, nightclubs and restaurants which offer traditional Greek, English, Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai and Canadian cuisine.
